Thakita Thakita made with all newcomers fails to keep entertaining audience. Rather it tries to educate on issues in the life. Special appearance of Nagarjuna and Anushka did not add much value to the movie. The movie is about eight college going youngsters and their love, struggles and caree aspirations.Nandini and Kishore fell in love but Nandini’s father is against the love marriage and wishes to give his second daughter to the same family from where his first daughter returned home after issues with her in-laws. Jessica a foreign student whose laughter makes you cry. Sri is in love with Chandana but did not express. He wants to tell her parents only when he gets a suitable job. Nandini and Kishore get married with the help of their friends. Mahesh keeps Rs 50,000 thousand cheque in answer sheet to the examination evaluator. Two lovers commit suicide in the campus as their elders oppose their marriage. Bhumika plays the role of a lecturer. Her role is short but effective. How Sri and Chanda come together forms the rest of the story. Bhumika Chawla and her husband Bharat Thakur’s efforts will not yield any dividends at the box-office. The directors failed to connect with audience with poor narration. In the first half it is pretty boring. Second half looks just okay. The only saving grace to the movie is its music and photography and rich visuals.
