The Chandrayaan-2 is a joint Indo-Russian project - APPSC Group I 2010

The Chandrayaan-2 is a joint Indo-Russian project, with each agency putting in around Rs 425 crore,  expected to take off towards the end of 2012.
Indian space capabilities have matured and the country is being increasingly looked upon by Russia, the US and Europe as a partner in space exploration.
