The veteran South Indian film producer and movie moghul Dr. D. Ramanaidu has been felicitated with the prestigious Dada Saheb Falke award for the year 2009.
The Legendary producer will be conferred the award at the National Films Awards Function scheduled to be held in October this year.
He has been selected for the award for his outstanding contribution in the field of Indian Cinema.
The Dada Saheb Falke Award consists of a Swarn Kamal, a cash prize of Rs.10 lakhs and a shawl.
Dr. D. Ramanaidu entered the film industry in 1963 and his debut film was Anuragam.
