The showpiece north-south-east-west highway network and the golden quadrilateral costing Rs 29,802 crore and Rs 20,235 crore, respectively, a first-world metro railway system in Delhi on which Rs 30,571 crore has already been spent and the capital’s spanking new Rs 12,700 crore airport terminal have not only catapulted the nation to the global front ranks but given it very valuable learning that will come in handy replicating similar success stories on a countrywide scale in the coming years.
